Alex knew from a young age she wanted to be an entrepreneur, it was in high school that she narrowed it down to owning a salon. As a teen she was cutting and styling any family or friends that would let her. After several years of working for a small salon in Wauwatosa, doing additional training and building a clientele, it was time for change. Piccola Salon was born in 2013 with the help of her partner Savannah. Sitting in her chair not only will you get beautiful hair/lashes but also an honest and passionate beauty professional. Talking travel, dogs, and wine are her top pics. Fast forward 9 successful years of Piccola Salon in business, today Alex can be found doing hair and lashes during the week and bridal hair most every weekend.

Growing up with wild curly hair Savannah was always doing her own colors and even cuts on occasion but never gave any thought to doing hair professionally. When it was time to find a career path she attended Vici Capalli Beauty School in 2007 and graduated at the top of her class. After graduating cosmetology school she worked for 5 years at a small family salon in Wauwatosa, where her and Alex met. In 2013 Piccola Salon was then born with the help of her business partner Alex. After 10 plus years in the industry and over 5 sucsessful years of salon ownership Savannah still loves what she does. Hair and Microblading are her main focus with Bridal hair and Makeup services being a favorite.

Sierra loves the simple things in life. She is also a Vici Capalli graduate. This is where beauty became a huge passion for her. Being able to help people embrace their true beauty is what she strives for. Lashes and facials are her specialty. Outside of work she have one kitty and three pups that she spends time with. At a concert is where you can find her on the weekends. Her favorite place to travel to is Hawaii because of the beautiful beaches.

Ever since Jen was a little girl hair has always been her passion. From cutting her American girl dolls hair hoping it would grow back over night, to being the designated braider at every dance completion, beauty was always her calling. Fast forward to today, Jen is a graduate from Paul Mitchell the School Milwaukee. She then had years of advanced training from a salon where education was a high priority. Jen specializes in new hair color trends including balayage, blended roots, and blondes. Turning your Pinterest hair goals into a realistic look that compliments your hair type and your day to day reality is her passion.

While working full-time as a medical professional, Antoinesha had devoted her weekends to freelance as a makeup artist in the Milwaukee and Chicagoland areas. In 2022, she made the best decision to follow her heart to pursue beauty full-time and become a Piccola Pro.

From a young age I idolized my mother and oldest sister who were cosmetologists and led me to my career. I graduated from The Aveda Institute of Beauty and Wellness in 2016 and began my career in Mequon, WI. I was given many amazing opportunities including working in New York Fashion Week, advanced education, participating in local fashion shows and photoshoots, and working with some of the best in the industry. Editorial hair has my heart, but my true passion lies behind the chair. I love transforming my clients by enhancing their beauty and watching them walk away with confidence. Hair color and extensions are my specialty but I love styling and precision cutting as well.

The meaning behind Piccola
The name Piccola comes from the Italian language meaning mini or small in size. When the salon first formed we started in the smallest room available in the building. Today Piccola occupies multiple different rooms. Our current space is about 5 times bigger than what we started in. Even though we have grown out of our "mini" room the name still sticks.
Piccola Salon hit 5 years old in February 2018. We would never be here without our AMAZING clients. Many thanks to you all!!
